Welcome to Loving Paws of the South
Loving Paws of the South is a volunteer-run rescue dedicated to saving dogs from euthanasia lists and helping them find safe, loving forever homes.
Many of the dogs we rescue come from overcrowded shelters where they are at risk of losing their lives simply due to lack of space.
We believe every dog deserves a second chance. Through fostering, medical care, rehabilitation, and community support, we work to give these dogs the future they deserve.
Serving Kentucky and Colorado
Loving Paws of the South Rescue is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving communities through our locations in Scottsville, Kentucky, and Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Our Colorado operations are licensed through the Colorado Department of Agriculture’s Pet Animal Care and Facilities Act (PACFA) program. We operate through approved foster homes and follow PACFA requirements for animal care, health, safety, transportation, and recordkeeping.
Across both locations, our mission remains the same: to rescue dogs from euthanasia lists and unsafe situations, provide the veterinary care and support they need, and help them find safe, loving forever homes.

Why We Rescue
